Beautiful green blue
At cone 6 and on white clay, this is a beautiful satin green colour with a blue undertone. It's not quite as successful on dark clay.

How do these terracolor brush on glazes fare on your earthstone ES90 flecked clay? Have tried the amaco brush-on glazes on this same clay & it makes everything come out very muted and dull.

The iron in the clay body may effect the colour outcome making them slightly darker. The Terracolor range do perform well on a range of clay bodies but all the examples shown are fired on a white clay body.

Can we apply a clear glaze as the final layer to have a shiny finish? Thanks
Mrs P from United Kingdom
You can layer glazes however it is likely the end result will be alot different that the example shown here, normally a clear glaze is applied on top of underglazes if you wanted to spray a green and blue for example then apply a transparent to achieve this effect alternatively we have lots of glossy reactive glazes to choose from. Hope this helps.
