This is fantastic. Obviously not essential to the life of a potter (and I favour poverty stricken methods - it feels a bit more 'true') but a luxury item that I don't think I'll go without now. It will save on buying batts to replace my warped and slightly knackered ones because it does indeed minimise jitter and wobble.

I think these bat mates are excellent they are constantly in use.

previously wobbly bats now stuck to the wheel head like glue. Superb!

Almost too grippy. I use these with a bat insert system and it works almost too well. It can be tricky getting the insert out.

Using with regular bats works very well.
