No it is unlikely to be suitable for tableware.

Can the Amaco velvet series be diluted? Can they be mixed with each other to create new colors?

Yes you can dilute however the colour will be less intense. Yes you can mix the colours.

AMACO Velvet underglazes if left unglazed they have the appearance of velvet. They will intensify in colour when covered with a Clear Transparent or Gloss glaze.
