9800 Melting Point Reducer
Botz Stoneware Melting Point Reducer allows Botz Stoneware Glazes to be fired to high earthenware glaze temperatures.
It reduces Botz stoneware temperatures by 100°C to 1120°C
Simply add 10g (3 teaspoons) of Botz Melting Point Reducer to 200ml of Botz Stoneware Glaze. Mix it well and apply 2-3 layers. Ideal firing temperataure is 1150°C with a 30 minute hold.
For Botz Glazes: 9870, 9873, 9898 and 9899 - only add 5g of Melting Point Reducer (1.5 teaspoons)
