Dear Scarva,
Is this slip food-safe, in a toxic meaning? I wish to coat with few expresso cup, and apply a transparent glaze on this slip?

The slip is not toxic, whether or not the finished piece is suitable for dinnerware will come down to the final glaze that is used and the temperature it is fired to.

Are your decorating slip ( mallard green, teal orange, white, black) lead free?

SCARVA Vivid Coloured Decorating Slips are coloured using our most intense stains. They are suitable for use on both Earthenware and Stoneware bodies. When manufacturing our slips we believe in using high percentages of stain to give strong, vivid colours throughout the range. The slip can be applied to leather hard clay with brushes, sponges or slip trailers. After biscuit firing the pots should be glazed with a suitable transparent glaze, which will further enhance the vibrant colours.
