Hi, I've read that you should mix the clay when building a clay oven. 1 part clay to 2 parts sand, is this applicable with this clay?

No this body is far to coarse and open I would recommend our ES5 Earthstone Original would be better suited, hope this helps.

Hello,
I've been looking at this product to make the main part of my outdoor pizza oven. I have made a fibre glass mold of the dome and the idea that I have is to press the clay against the mold to get the shape. My question is, Will this clay air dry to a degree to allow it to be removed from the mold and retain it's shape? Thanks

Yes this is what this clay has been designed to do. The only thing to take into consideration is that when clay dries it will shrink so choosing the correct time to remove the support is vital. I recommend waiting until the clay is cheese hard this should be soft even to remove but firm enough to retain its shape. Hope this helps.

Hi,
When you say this body has a very low shrinkage rate can you give me an idea of what this is? even just roughly. I'm creating a mixed media project from fused glass and ceramics so I need a clay with the smallest amount of shrinkage possible so that they will fit together once made seperately. many thanks.
