Scarva Earthstone Professional PF580 Superwhite Earthenware Clay From  £21.08

I love this, it really is super white!. I cone 06 bisque fired and then decorated my work with Scarva Nano stains (mixed with a little water and RM1072 Glaze Medium) and used a good thick coating of GZ2130 clear glossy glaze and fired on cone 4 in my Skutt Automatic Kiln. The results were brilliant. I make slab type hanging decorations and tried it throwing a couple of pots which came out really well despite me still learning to throw. I also hand built a butter dish and some spoon rests with this and everything looks brilliant. It dries well and it just seems really forgiving either that or I have actually improved my technique! Buy it :)

Lovely earthenware clay, smooth to work with and bright white results after firing. Holds slips and glazes well. My No1 earthenware clay to date.
