If the clay is self-glazing, how will I protect it from sticking to the kiln shelf?
If I'll place two pieces made out of this clay, one over another, will they stick together?

Hi,
The self glazing aspect of this clay is more a sheen than a gloss. It will not fuse enough to stick to the shelf provided it isn't fired too high. Pieces should not stick together but we wouldn't recommend trying to do so.

Can you colour Parian clay with a pigment? Can you wedge in glaze stain to colour it?

Hi, you could if you wished however slip can be a difficult thing to set up properly. Your best bet would be to buy our CS80 which is the ready made casting slip from this body. If you wish to make your own you will need to adjust to the correct fluidity and pint weight using soda ash and sodium silicate. Hope this helps!
