Scarva Special Effects Silicone Silastic Thixo Additive From £5.20
 Thixotropic Agent is an additive to thicken RTV silicone.If a skin mould is required of a vertical object or surface, and cannot be made by normal pouring techniques, catalysed mixtures of silicone can be made non-flowable by the addition of Thixo Additive. This is a particularly valuable benefit of the mold-makers product range, as it avoids the need for difficult-to-use, high viscosity paste materials. For best results we would always recomend applying a first coat of unthickened Silicone to create a bubble free mould. This agent may be added up to 25g per 1 kilo of Silicone.
