Thermofix is a high temperature adhesive. When it is fired between 1000-1260°C, it is a buff colour becoming progressively lighter in colour as it rises higher through the firing range. Can be used to repair bisque breakages in addition to minor kiln brickwork repairs. Also bonds ceramic fibers to metal or stone.
Dampen both surfaces with water if necessary, then apply Thermofix to both surfaces before bonding together and re-firing. Gluing a large surface area is preferable in order to achieve a strong bond.
