Terracolor 608 Dromedary From  £12.49

A splendid glaze. One that is becoming a fast favourite in my Studio. I have never experienced any bad results - the colour has always exceeded expectations, and when fired to 1250, beautiful accents of purple float through the delicate bursts of gold and brown. A real winner!

Very nice reliable glaze and doesn't run. It gives the same effect in one as the tenmoku over the romantica double combo does (latter is very unforgiving with drips however). So this has that nice mottled effect in one glaze which is excellent.

Much better than the pictures. Under some lights looks like gold( in a tasteful way!) and then in daylight much more natural -wet sand and with two coats more like back pic. Very interesting.

Tried this a couple of years ago with amazing results like on front picture. Purchased it again and I’am not able to get a good result. Tried thick, thin and from 1220-1250. Just totally different- too matte and not functional. Did the recipe change??

I used the dromedary on inside and romantic on outside of black clay and speckled clay bodies. Great results of dromedary but not got any nice results of romantic yet , I really wanted the pink tones but it has a Matt cream almost yellow effect.

Used on inside of a mug at 1220 C on white clay. Good result like that in front picture of product info, which is what I was hoping for.

The first time I tried this glaze it was wonderful. Like the front picture. Now it is coming out more matt. I just noticed another review asking if the recipe has changed. I am asking too as I have tried varying temp & thickness also. Thank you

Strangely this is rather fantastic. A really warm nutty colour with lots of depth. I fire at 1250
