I took notice of the previous review and fired this at Cone 6 but the glaze didn't mature and, although the colour was as pictured, the glaze was dry and scratchy. For me, the glaze was definitely better fired higher, at Cone 7, when the glaze fired as pictured. Love the colour but it is more matt than I realised.
At a temperature of 1260 degrees, 3 coats became very dark greyish, not at all like in the picture but still nice. But I noticed that at the bottom of the pot where I have applied only 2 thinner coats, the turquoise color like on the picture appeared. It should give good results at a lower temperature. The glaze is very pleasant to touch, smooth and satin finish
