Could you tell me if your glaze results are from reduction or oxidation firing?
Respuestas de Scarva:

Hi,
These are all fired in oxidation...
Hope this helps!

Hi. The temperature range given in the product description is 1,180 to 1,250 degrees centigrade. Could the glaze be fired a bit higher at say 1275 or 1280? I use a kiln at a pottery class and this is the temperature typically used by the school for stoneware. Thank you.

Hi,
If fired this high this glaze will likely run off the pot and stick to the kiln shelf. If you were going to try it I would suggest doing a test tile and placing it in a sacrificial crucible in case it does run.
Hope this helps!

Will there be much of a variation to the colour shown if I'm firing only to 1180, as this is the maximum fhat my current clay can be fired to.

Hi,
Unfortunately we can't say for sure how your results would be at this temperature. Terracolor state the firing range to be 1180°-1250° so I expect it would work, you may just not see the fluidity seen in the pictured example.
Hope this helps!

Hi there, what target pyrometric cone would you recommend for this glaze?
Respuestas de Scarva:

For the best results I would recommend around cone 4, hope this helps.
