Xiem Titanium Fused Trimming Tools are made of hand crafted, high carbon tempered stainless steel blades fused with a thin layer of Titanium Nitrate. This gives the blade increased strength and hardness and makes it rust resisitant. The Titanium fused blades are 3 times harder than steel for maximum performance, with a cutting edge that stays sharper for longer.
The hand sanded, ergonomic shaped handles are made of Beech Hardwood and are designed to allow for greater comfort and control. The handle has a flat side to prevent it rolling off flat surfaces. Handles have been soaked in Tung Oil and cured by oxidation to improve water, slip and mould resistance.
Xiem Trimming Tools are excellent for carving and trimming on the wheel, sculpting and hollowing work. Oval Titanium fused Pro Trimming Tools are available in small and medium sizes.
