This gives a lovely rich purple which breaks over texture or gives a lovely smooth finish where there is no texture. Like all Amaco brush ons you need to apply heavily to make the colour come through. Three generous coats applied in alternate directions works well.
This glaze is also really good when layered with other Amaco cone 5/6 glazes. I particularly like 2 or 3 x Obsidian with 3 x Smokey Merlot over - it is a beautiful opaque bright purple.

Not used yet but if the result is anything like my other Potters choice products I will be very happy indeed.

My most used PC so far. Love the layering combinations. Personal choice obvs but the results are outstanding.
