Mudtools Mudsponge - Variety 3 Pack From  £19.95

I have had 3 sets of these now for use on different coloured clay.
They are perfect for throwing. The colour goes on the blue after a while, but the texture and absorbancy remain despite age and use.
I use the white finishing one instead of a chammy for my rims.

The quality of the sponges is excellent, no complaints there.
The only thing I'd say is that I can't see much of a difference in the orange and blue "building" sponges, both have a rougher finish for taking off larger inconsistencies in the finish. The white one is a must have as a finishing tool, leaves a brilliant smooth surface for finishing with a soft kidney

I am new to the art of pottery, learning throwing as well as flatware creation. The sponges arrived loose in the box (I almost tossed them out by accident). No information was included at all, just the 3 loose sponges, together with some items for glazing. It would be helpful to know more about them so that I use them properly, including how to clean and store them. Only then can I review these expensive items correctly!

If you were under the impression that a sponge is just a sponge then you really need to try these! now an essential part of my tool kit and i could not be without them.

I can not recommend these sponges any more. They are absolutely perfect! I have never pulled better than when using these sponges. Perfect!!!!

Don’t be deceived by the thin nature, this sponge is easy to handle and soaks more than you can imagine it would.
