Well behaved very white porcelain. Keeps it's shape and very pliable and plastic and no pressure / S cracks. Costs more than Royale but very much whiter and easier to throw (that said, the Royale is a v good porcelain). IMHO the Ming is as good as Southern Ice Porcelain. I'd give Ming 10/10. However, the Spinal Tap 11/10 is Limoges Porcelain by Ceradel which is sublime l. Trust me I'm a potter.

I’m a hobby potter and have been hand-building porcelain for some years but I’m a beginner at throwing on the wheel. This is the third type of porcelain clay I have thrown. and I’ve found it by far the easiest. The clay stays where you put it and it’s less unruly than other varieties. Using the same weight of clay I’ve been able to make larger items than with other clays as it holds up better and I can get it thinner. It also works well if you want to roll out thin layers to cut out decorative patterns.

I use the ming porcelain clay. I bisque at cone 06. I then glaze with GZ2150 zinc multi purpose stoneware transparent lead free at cone 9. Is that ok. My bowls came out ok but I just need to know if I'm doing it right. Thank you

Haven't opened this batch yet but I've used Ming Porcelain before and found it very good for throwing and for thin delicate pieces too. This time the clay bags had burst through the packing box when it arrived but there was no damage.

My first porcelain, and I love it. I've heard how difficult porcelain can be but I found this a joy to use. Couldn't wait to buy a full bag after my 1kg tester. I'm now a converted porcelain potter!
