At 1000°C it is 4.5%
At 1280°C it is 8.2%

You can throw with this body, however it is very coarse so you have been warned.

No it is to coarse and open you would be better using our ES5 Earthstone Original, hope this helps.

Hi, this is GZ2214 Iron Reactive and is designed for use in oxidation in an electric kiln. Hope this helps!

What us the difference in handling, warp resistance, finished texture when handbuilding between this and your earthstone groged handbuilding clay please?

They are very similar however this clay would contain more red iron oxide so will fire darker in appaeranece.

Is this clay waterproof enough for vases and jugs?

This clay body has quite a high grog content so even if it is glazed it is unlikely to hold liquid and you may experience small leakage as the body remains quite open, hope this helps.
