I fired this clay up to 1250*C several times - no problem!
It becomes this lovely rich dark brown.
I use it for hand building pots.
Great in contrast with white slip decoration.
Could you please recomment a transparent satin finish (not glossy) glaze for this body? I've used Terracolour 604 matt translucent but find it too milky and very bubbly when put on too thick.
Very happy with all aspects of the transaction. Speedy delivery. Would definitely buy from Scarva again.
