Crackle glazes like this one are not suitable for creating tableware as bacteria can harbour in between the cracks in the glaze.

Yes you can use this on Porcelain paperclay. I am sorry we do not currently have a matt version but we will have a go at developing one, watch this space.

Does this glaze work ok with a little stain?
Réponses de Scarva:

Hi, yes this should work with stain addition. You will need to test however and pinks, purples and mauves may burn out. Hope this helps

Can I apply this product at the leather hard stage or when the porcelain is dry?
Réponses de Scarva:

All glazes work best when applied to bisque ware, no problem with raw or once firing is that the glaze may spit of during firing landing on your heating elements and burning them out, so we always recommend biscuit firing first.
