Should i purchase wire graduated to size of work?
Is it correct that wire should be rolled in newspaper to prevent Clay sticking?
Does the wire burn -out during firing?
I currently use Newspaper Armatures--thank-you

There are a few different thickness of wire depending on the scale of a piece you plan to make. I would not advise putting newspaper in the kiln as it will create a lot of smoke when burning of. The high temperature wire will remain in the piece giving it strength after during and after firing.

If I am firing glazed beads can I use this to thread the beads onto to prevent them touching the kiln? ie they won't stick to the metal and the metal can be propped up with other kiln proof items?
Réponses de Scarva:

Yes you can use high temperature wire to fire beads however I would recommend using our 12 or 14swg thickness wire instead, this wire would be to thin and would not be able to support much weight. The other alternative is a bead firing stand.
