Bought not for raku firing but for making glass frit in a ceramic kiln which like raku has to be opened whilst the kiln is red hot so these are ideal to prevent dropping container and getting burned . They are sturdy and a useful addition to my studio..
Reasonable price too and fast delivery.

I ordered this as I’m shortly going to build a Raku kiln. Suddenly realised I definitely needed a set of tongs. These seem good quality and great value.
