I use a number of the nano stains for my porcelain slip casting and they are absolutely brilliant. I have noticed that occasionally the colours aren't exactly what I was expecting compared to a screen, but this is quite normal I suppose. In terms of use I find they mix very evenly and fire well as part of a slipcast item. I normally fire to 1245 as they are in the body of the clay, but have taken them to 1260 and havent noticed them overworking or melting. Also tried using some in some premixed glazes and again the colours are generally wonderful!

I waited to do this review until my work came through the firing process, being at Adult Ed classes that can take a while :-( I found the colour to be pretty close to the colour on the tub. Btw I am thrilled with the tubs! Previously had stains in transparent bags which ok take less space but are not as safe either. Stain mixed easily and applied beautifully using brushes and sponge. I mixed with other colours both at powder level and once applied and really liked the results. Once fired if I wasn't confined to a wheelchair I'd have been doing a happy dance. I'm not normally like this! I used basic stoneware clay and the colours were vibrant and well, colourful. Intend to use on white and porcelain next and sure colours will be even brighter. Though to be fair they are the best I've seen on stoneware. 100% recommendation for these stains.

This is a fantastic colour and brighter than some of the more expensive stains!! Highly recommend!
