Hi. I’m new to ceramics. I have an electric stoneware kiln. Can I get these glaze effects with Scarva glazes in my kiln. I especially like you crackle effect glazes. Somebody has told me I need a reduction kiln to glaze porcelain. Can you recommend a good porcelain glaze for use in electric kilns.
Thanks
Bill

Hi,
These glazes are designed to work in an electric kiln. All of the glazes on our site (apart from Raku glazes) are shown fired in oxidation in an electric kiln. This crackle will only work on porcelain bodies.
Hope this helps!

Is this Glaze suitable for dishwasher.
Is it foodsafe? I'm looking to use it for cold foods i.e. snacks, nuts...

Hi, crackle glazes are not food safe due to the ability of bacteria to develop within the cracks.
