I have used this clay over many years and the only problem I find with it is cracks in the base of some of my pots, its not clay more the thickness and subsequent drying I think. The clay is extremely forgiving when used for throwing great stuff really!!

Very impressed with the quality of this porcelain. I've purchased Audrey Blackman from different companies before and scarva is by far the best quality one.

Lovely for throwing and glazes really show their colour well. Glazes can run so have to be careful about drips onto the kiln shelves!

I love the working qualities while throwing, although I have had some problems with slumping/changing shape when firing.

I don't recommend this for hand building as it cracks really easily. I find it's either too wet or too dry and quite frustrating to work with. People love it for throwing however.
