what ratio / quantities of powder to glaze medium do I need to make up this glaze?

Mix approximately 700mls of water or brush on medium to 1000grams of powder pass through a fine mesh sieve then adjust is necessary.

Hi,
Does this glaze need a long soak to achieve the oil spot effect shown in the pictures?

There are many factors that will affect the finished result including the thickness of glaze, the end firing temperature, even the shape of the pot can have a bearing but in most cases 30 minutes works well. Terracolor Powder Stoneware Glazes are a more cost effective and faster approach to glazing a larger volume of pots. Simply mix the powder with water and pass through a sieve to create a dipping glaze. All Terracolor glazes are Lead Free.
