This is a difficult glaze to get right -too thin goes brown/clear. Three thick coats worked for me. Fired to 1200 degrees Celsius as anything above gave bubbles and pin holes. Fired 150 per hour to 300, 130 per hour to 1100, 50 per hour to 1200 then 10 min soak. Works well on e/s original very white clay. Have tried on a brown clay too not as bright but still interesting. This Terracolor glaze is a beautiful orange, very stable on the white stoneware I use. It is an excellent glaze that I would recommend.

Worked really well on an earthstone E130 clay vase fired at cone 6, no hold.

I used this as directed, but it came out a very dark red. It's actually a gorgeous colour, and has a lovely mottled effect to it, but it's nowhere near orange. I shall try applying it much thinner next time.

Make sure you apply the glaze thickly to get the colour to develop

Very deep dark red after firing, sadly not the lovely orange colour seen here!
