I have used this with most of the Botz glazes and have found it to create some really good effects

This is a wonderful addition to my pottery studio. You can create so many different effects by using it over or under other glazes. My only advice is... make a load of test tiles and have some fun!

I love Botz plus. Been fan-girling Keo ceramics on insta- she spills the beans in all her effects and glaze combos - so successful she is now in paid partnership with Botz… anyhow, I followed some of her suggestions and was totally impressed with the results. Added depth and a beautiful iridescence to stoneware temp glazes,,, such a as aqua marine over driftwood … indigo over speckled cream etc…
Has a bit of a chemically smell as the kiln ramps up, but this disappears at full firing.
Chest note… I use the stoneware glazed with plus on my porcelain pieces too… getting beautiful functional ware. Seems to be dishwasher proof too.

It did not improve the Botz Indigo glaze, only adding a sort of milky film which reduced the brightness of the colour.

After reading around, I bought Botz Plus to use on Earthenware to obtain a crackle finish. Following directions to apply 2 thin coats and fire at 1050C I was hopeful. Unfortunately the results were a pearly semi opaque finish that masked the decals & underglaze beneath. I did try re-firing to 1100, but this did not help. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
