Scarva Tools Hessian Square From  £2.42

I received two identical pieces of this hessian which is great because they completed my clay roller project. I think I will need to soak them a bit and let them dry because I found that the hessian shed some hairs on the clay, not a problem much because it will disappear when fired but I was worried it would leave a mark where I wanted smooth finishes, however it is great for making a sacking texture and I used it gladly for a project I was working on.

My parcel arrived promptly and this item and my other purchases were well packaged. decent quality Hessian which is not always easy to obtain

I was disappointed when using the hessian to roll out clay on as it produced loads of 'hairy bits ' on clay. so not really suitable unless of course you want that effect.

Great to have

Very rough piece of hessian that shed badly both with strands and flecks which ruined my clay. Not sure if I was using this incorrectly but it was not fit for purpose sadly.
