I bought both Earthenware and Stoneware wax crayons online within the last few months or so, and I was wondering; What is the difference between them? Also the only defining difference I can see on their packaging is a small piece of tape on each, one containing the code SK 07 and the other SK02a. How would I go about telling them apart? Or would it be more trial and error? Thanks!

Hi,
Sure, SK02a is Earthenware and 07 is Stoneware.
Hope this helps!

Because they are wax based you can't put a glaze over them until they are first fired?

Yes, that is correct.

Are these applied to greenware and then fired?
