I purchase the wheel not knowing exactly if I would like or not and have many doubts as every person says something different and there are many options... didn't want to make a mistake.
However I am very happy with what I chose. The wheel is steady and able to do what needs. Very easy to instal and start.

Goes at speeds higher than what I need to throw my pots. Easy to clean, portable and works brilliantly to satisfy my potting needs! Only issue is the bats are rather expensive :(

This is a beautiful little wheel, just right for me because I cannot manage large wedges of clay. Easier to stop the clay from initially sliding on the bat if you leave a thin layer of slip on the wheel to help the clay grab. I really like this wheel and have made some lovely items in the last week, since it arrived: small goblet, cream jug, tool holder and a bowl with transfer butterflies. Not bad for an arrant beginner. Thanks, Andy McDermott for teaching me the basics.

Chosen mainly based on portability and prize, it is versatile and can be used in many diffrent environments. Mechanically sound and easy to clean.

I am a beginner and didn’t want to pay too much. This wheel sits firmly on the table top is easy to set up and clean. It comes with two plastic bats which are easy to clean. I have the one with the foot pedal which is easy to use and can set the speed. The wheel can be clockwise or anti clockwise with the flick of a switch.
So far so good. I am finding standing up a good position for me personally but may invest in a high stool later.

As an almost total novice being tutored at a distance by an expert having this lovely wheel is making my life a lot easier. I’ve not even begun to start making finished items, I’m still perfecting my centering technique but this machine is powerful, easy to use and easy to clean. If I have one issue it’s that the foot pedal isn’t as sensitive in the front as I’d have expected but that will become less of a problem as I use the machine.
