This glaze is one of the textured spectrum glazes which retains its viscosity at higher temps. You get a fairly solid brown base with sand coloured effects which tend to follow the pattern of application even when fired up to 1220. However when anothet colour is applied over the top you can get some amazing effects, e.g. 2 coats of Textured Autumn with a 3rd coat of Textured Kiwi Fruit fired to 1180 gives a solid brown glossy glaze base with light sandy coloured rivulets running down it containing flecks of metalic purple. This whole range of glazes is great to experiment and play with.
