Nice even coating with good colour. Crackling worked well and found that using acrylic black ink gave a good effect with very quick drying and easy to wash off excess. Mixed with some glaze stain for samples and got good results from all colours. Not quite raku but no smoke and no breakage! Used on low fire earthenware.

Glaze wasn't very white; fired it for a long time; it is quite shiny, but no bubbles or imperfections and am delighted with crackle after inking up.

This glaze works really well on all my work. Its a very natural off white and gives an excellent crackle.. The longer you leave it the more it crackles. I fire it at 1050.. Its really important to smooth over the glaze once applied with your finger to go over any tiny holes for the best effect ... 3 coats is best. I've tested a lot of crackle glazes and this one comes out top!! Gorgeous over Amaco velvet glazes too..

I find most Terracolours great for the biscuit fired terracotta I use but this one is transparent on the red earthenware clay maybe because of the clays iron content.
