The method of preparation of the fired trials was follows:

0.9mm copper as used

The actual size of the blanks is 50mm x 37mm

Three thin coats of enamel were applied by dry dusting

The blanks were counter enamelled

Firing time was 2 minutes and the temperature was 800°C
