I received two identical pieces of this hessian which is great because they completed my clay roller project. I think I will need to soak them a bit and let them dry because I found that the hessian shed some hairs on the clay, not a problem much because it will disappear when fired but I was worried it would leave a mark where I wanted smooth finishes, however it is great for making a sacking texture and I used it gladly for a project I was working on.
My parcel arrived promptly and this item and my other purchases were well packaged. decent quality Hessian which is not always easy to obtain
Hessian square is ideal for rolling out slabs of clay and protecting your work surface. The coarse texture of the jute fabric can also leave a nice texture on the clay surface.
