The UK's No.1 Pottery Supplier

Nano Colours are manufactured to a very fine particle size; this has many advantages. Nano Colours disperse more readily throughout a glaze or slip resulting in more uniform and defect free surfaces. During the firing process Nano Colours fuse more vigorously creating purity, intensity and brilliance. Nano Colours are stronger therefore less percentage is needed to create vivid colours making them extremely cost effective. Due to the fine particle size Nano Colours are ideal for screen-printing applications. • 62 Vivid Colours • Cost Effective • High Firing • Lead Free • All colours are intermixable • Maximum Firing Temperature 1280°C • Add approximately 8% to make opaque glaze Please be aware that if you intend to use stains to make underglazes you must add underglaze flux

Mixes well with other stains
I have used this to mix with the other Nano stains and it's great. I mix with a little water and glaze medium and then brush on followed by a clear glaze over the top and fired at cone 4.

Great quality
Really like the Nano Stains. Great quality. Thick and strong colours. Be sure to use the underglaze medium to make it fast.

Hello - am a beginner. Is this stain effective for earthenware products. I.e. firing to 1070 degrees
linda from Kenya
Hi there, yes it is. If you add 10% stain to a transparent glaze will will get a good white glaze.
