The glaze came out beautifully, not as shown as it runs and streaks with only a few bits of the peac**k eye effect. It is very thick so needs to be stirred a lot, two coats is probably enough. I put on three coats on a huge 3ft pot, I found it sucks right into the pot so hard to judge how much you have put on, but the result was stunning. Also.. make sure you have a drip tray under it and kiln furniture to lift your pots or you will find them stuck to the shelf! Wish I could put a picture here.
Found the glaze, when opened, to be rather thick and "Gloopy" and therefore was too thick on my texture dish.
Needed to thin quite a lot to get the finish I was looking for. Be careful over textures as only needs 2 coats to give a lovely effect.
Terracolor Brush-On Earthenware Glazes are available ready to use straight from the jar, simply stir well then apply three coats to your bisque pieces. Glaze will dry quickly allowing you to move them to the kiln for firing. For best results fire 1040°C with a 30 minute soak on a computerised controller.
