Hi - I'm a bit confused about this sample picture. Where does the pale pink on the front pot come from? Is it entirely decorated with this same glaze?

The different effects come from applying the glaze at different thicknesses.

Hi Can you tell me what temperatures the pots were fired to in the picture and how long the top temperature was held. I understand from the previous question that the one at the back of the picture was fired to a higher temperature so both temperatures would be helpful. Also were they dipped just the once?

On a computerized controller fire 1200oC, or 1235oC with a 30 minute soak. I would play with thickness as the results can vary alot.

Please could you answer the following for me related to the Terracolour Stoneware glazes:
In your catalogue and on-line photos,
1.roughly how tall are the pots illustrated?
2.Are the two pots in each illustration made of the same or different clays?
Thanks
David Graham

The glazed pots are approximately 200mm high. They are all fired on white stoneware clay. The pot in the background is fired slightly higher displaying the different effect temperature can have on the glaze.
