I purchased the brush on glaze and two coats is sufficient enough. I have a manual kiln so have not been able to soak. I fired to cone 05 and everytime they come out beautifully! Like another comment on here, mine also has a few specks of blue, but looks just as great. A firm favourite with customers.
Fantastic glaze - I have the brush on version and two coats seemes to be efficient enough on a white earthenware clay body. I fired to cone 05, but i did have some blue spots that came out which i wasn't expecting at all...but they do look great anyhow! I will be purchasing more, especially as this glaze choice has been a hit with customers.
Terracolor Brush-On Earthenware Glazes are available ready to use straight from the jar, simply stir well then apply three coats to your bisque pieces. Glaze will dry quickly allowing you to move them to the kiln for firing. For best results fire 1040°C with a 30 minute soak on a computerised controller.
