I love this glaze, and it's a very popular one for my work, however, as for runs, I've only had that on porcelain and it didn't look nearly as nice as on the ES90. My main issue is it doesn't like other glazes and regularly requires a refire as it craters a lot. This then softens the crystals, but when the glazes finally settle, the merging of the two is often spectacular.

Super colour and effects, again very runny so need to be careful applying.

Claire from United Kingdom asks
Hi there. Can you advise, is it necessary to take the firing up as high as 1250 degrees to mature the clay? Will it still have the same markings when glazed to 1180? Also, can you suggest a suitable way to fire this glaze, as in how quickly i take up the temperature in the kiln to reach the final temp. e.g. 1240 and do i need to soak it at the end? Many thanks Claire
