A subtle turquoise gloss, green-beige where thin, but a beautiful aqua where thick. Great for textured ware and layering with other Potters Choice glazes.
Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.
Safety Warning
Tableware producers must test all finished ware to establish dinnerware status, due to possible variations in firing temperature and contamination.

This is a lovely glaze, particularly on flecked stoneware, as the iron encourages the colours to separate. If you put it over matt charcoal glaze from Scarva a range of beautiful deep blues can be achieved. It does take three coats as it says on the bottle but worth it.
Would this work if fired to 1260? Or is that too hot?
Réponses de Scarva:
Hi,
Amaco recommend firing to cone 5, we wouldn't suggest going too far over this however there would be no harm in experimenting! Hope this helps

Can this glaze be brushed on?
Also how will it react to other potters choice glazes if they are layered or overlap for example?
Réponses de Scarva:
Hi! Yes, this is a brush on glaze - you can use Amaco's layering resource by copying and pasting the following link - https://www.amaco.com/glazes-and-underglazes/layering
Hope this helps!
